This standard specified the process requirements and quality inspection of spreading anti-corrosive plastic powder coating on steel pipe and internal and external surface of pipe fittings (hereafter referred to as coating plastic).
This standard is applicable to transmission medium of seawater, wastewater, drinking water, oil and inert gas, and plastic coating process for steel pipe used for ship piping system with diameter DN of 15~600mm, while the straight pipe length is not greater than 6,000mm and the straight length of the bent pipe is not greater than 4,000mm. This standard shall also be the reference to similar steel pipes for plastic coating used in other industries.
