1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to unifying the technical requirements for in -situ pore water pressure measurement, advancing the measuring techniques and ensuring measuring quality.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to in-situ measurement of pore pressure in saturated soil layer.
1.0.3 The selection and burying of in-situ pore pressure measuring instruments, as well as the measuring methods shall have reliable quality, easy operation, and shall be economic and effective.
1.0.4 In addition to provisions in this standard, the in-situ pore water pressure measuring shall also comply with relevant regulations in current national standards.
