1.0.1 “Code For Profundity Of Geotechnical Investigation Documents” (Referred to as the provisions hereinafter ) is Specially formulated in order to assure the final quality of the geotechnical investigation, unify the development profundity of the investigation document and enhance the documents’ quality management.
1.0.2 The provisions apply to various architectural engineering and municipal engineering investigation in Shanghai. Foundation treatment and spot monitoring documents can be developed in reference to the provisions.
1.0.3 When developed, the investigation documents must implement the related engineering construction policies and decrees in Shanghai, and should conform to the requirements in the provisions.
1.0.4 The investigation documents should be developed according to various requirements in different investigation periods. Preliminary investigation and detailed investigation documents must be developed according to the provisions. There aren’t unified specifications in the development of feasibility study and construction investigation documents.
1.0.5 The investigation documents are consisted of verbal report, figure, and chart in general. According to project demand related Appendixes, such as, Anti-seismic Performance Evaluation Report about the Construction Spot, Engineering geophysical thematic report, etc. should be contained.
1.0.6 Investigation documents should developed by computer-aided measures. Investigation documents’ letters, punctuations, terms, codes, signs and numbers must adapt to related provisions.
1.0.7 The investigation documents should adopt A3 size, bound well, and bound in volume if the space is large. Binding should conform to the following requirements:
1.0.7.1 Cover, identification, investigation documents’ name, project No., compile unit, and date of submission;
1.0.7.2 Title Page, identification of persons mainly in charge (such as, project director, proofreader, auditor, approve person and department administrator) and unit aptitude etc.;
1.0.7.3 Table of contents;
1.0.7.4 Literal report;
1.0.7.5 Figure and chart;
1.0.7.6 Appurtenance (demand in project).
