1.0.1 This specification is prepared as required by Shanghai urban construction and the development of manufactured gas and natural gas, in accordance with the national and professional standard and by considering the specific conditions of Shanghai.
1.0.2 This specification is applicable to the design, installation and acceptance of residential buildings supplied by manufactured gas and natural gas piping, public buildings, industrial enterprises and the newly-built, reconstructed and expanded underground and over-ground gas pipeline and equipment in urban construction.
1.0.3 This specification is applicable to the gas pipeline engineering (excluding liquid gas) with the designed manufactured gas pressure P ≤0.4 MPa (meter pressure) and the designed natural gas pressure P≤1.6MPa (meter pressure). The grades are:
Sub-high pressure A 0.8MPa
Sub-high pressure B 0.4MPa
Medium-pressure A 0.2MPa
Medium-pressure B 0.01MPa≤P≤0.2MPa
Low pressure P<0.01MPa
1.0.4 The gas equipment shall be in compliance with the standard and the gas appliances shall be qualified after the inspection of the relevant quality supervision & inspection department.
1.0.5 The design and installation of gas pipeline engineering shall be safe, reasonable, reliable and convenient.
1.0.6 The design, construction and acceptance of gas pipeline engineering shall not only comply with the requirements stipulated in this specification, but also meet those in the relevant current compulsory standards of the nation.
