1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to implementing the national technical and economic policies and guaranteeing safety and usability, advanced technology, economy and rationality and top quality in the building structure design of fossil-fired power plant (hereinafter referred to as "power plant".
1.0.2 This standard is formulated according to the relevant national specifications in combination with the characteristics of fossil-fired power plant. All those unmentioned in this standard shall meet the requirements of relevant national and professional standards.
1.0.3 This standard is applicable to the civil structure design of constructed, renovated or extended power plant with individual unit capacity of turbine-generator between 125MW~1000MW. The power plant with less than 125MW capacity can comply with the requirements for power plant with 125MW capacity. This standard is not applicable to substation, transmission line as well as hydraulic buildings and special structures.
1.0.4 The structure design of power plant shall comply with not only the design requirements for limit state of bearing capacity and limit state of normal use, but also the requirements for durability, anti-explosion, fire prevention and corrosion protection.
1.0.5 The structure design of power plant shall absorb domestic and international advanced experience and apply new technology, layout, structure and material based on practical experience and experimental investigation in combination with process arrangement and construction conditions.
