3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply in this standard.
3.1
Finishing fire retardant paint
It refers to the fire retardant paint that coated on the surface of combustible base material (such as wood, fiber board, paper board and other products) forming the film with fire prevention and decoration function.
4 Technical Specifications
4.1 General requirements
4.1.1 The harmful raw material and dissolvent should not be adopted.
4.1.2 The color of finishing fire retardant paint may be in accordance with GB/T 3181 or may be determined by the negotiation of manufacturer and the user.
4.1.3 The finishing fire retardant paint may be constructed by brush coating, spray coating, roller coating or blade coating or combined method and is able to dry and solidify in general natural environment condition. After the formation of film, there is no obvious unevenness or striation on the surface and without shedding, bubble, chap or dot. It is able to form even finishing.
4.2 Technical requirement
The technical requirements for the finishing fire retardant paint shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1.
