This standard specifies the terms & definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of lifting appliances-safety devices against overloading.
This standard is applicable to the safety devices against overloading (hereinafter referred to as "device") used for bridge crane, portal crane, mobile crane, tower crane and jib crane (excluding floating crane and deck crane).
