1 Scope
This standard specifies the maximum allowable concentration and the inspection method of respirable coal dust in the air of workplace.
This standard is applicable to every kind of coal dust workplace exposed in the air with the free silicon dioxide content less than 10%.

3 Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following definitions are applied.
3.1 Coal dust
Coal dust with the free silicon dioxide content less than 10% in the air of workplace.
3.2 Respirable coal dust
The aerodynamic diameter of coal dust in the air of collection workplace is less than 7.07μm, whose collecting efficiency of 5μm particles is 50 %. Respirable dust sampler shall have the following characteristics of separating particles.
