1 Scope
This national standard specifies that common portland cements’ compositions, materials specifications, strength levels, technical specifications, test methods, test rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, etc..
This national standard is applicable to common portland cements.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this national standard.
Common Portland cement:
It is a kind of cement matrix composed of Portland cement clinkers and appropriate gypsum, plus specified admixture.
4 Classifications
Common Portland cement specified in this national standard include Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, slag Portland cement, Portland-Pozzolana cement, Fly-ash Portland cement and composite Portland cement. Compositions and codes of all kinds should comply with specifications in Article 5.1.
