1 Scope

This standard specifies the maximum permissible concentration and permissible concentration-time weighted average of petroleum asphalt (fume) in the air of workplace as well as the supervision and inspection method.
This standard is applicable to various industrial enterprises producing and using petroleum asphalt.

2 Hygienic Requirements

The maximum permissible concentration of petroleum asphalt (fume) in the air of workplace is 8mg/m3 and the permissible concentration-time weighted average is 5mg/m3.
