This national standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, the minimum allowable value of energy efficiency, the evaluating values of energy conservation, test method and test rules for metal-halide lamps.
This standard is applicable to transparent glass-shell single-ended metal-halide lamps (175 W~1500 W ScI3-NaI series) (hereinafter referred to as metal-halide lamps). When it adopts ballast specified in QB/T 2511, the metal-halide lamps complying with this standard may be started and lighted normally, with the rated voltage between 92%~106%.
