This standard specifies the daily average maximum allowable water discharge, daily average concentration limitation of water pollution control indicator and maximum allowable water pollutant discharge for per ton product of Saponin industry in two time steps.
This standard is applicable to the water pollutant discharge management for industrial enterprises which produce saponin or only saponin hydrolysate, as well as to the environmental impact assessment of saponin industry construction project, the construction project environmental protection facility design, final acceptance of construction and the post-production water pollution control and management.
The standard is applicable to the pollutant discharges behaviors allowed by law. For site selection of the newly-added product lines and the management of existed product lines in special protective areas, it shall be implemented according to Article 20 and 27 of " Law of The Peoples Republic Of China on The Prevention and Control of Water Pollution", Article 30 of "Marine Environment Protection Law of the People's Republic of China", and related regulations of Administrative Regulations of Pollution Prevention in the Conservancy Zone of Drinking Raw Water Sources.
