This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of silicone sealants for structurally glazed insulating glass units (hereinafter referred to as "structural silicone sealants for insulating glass").
This standard is applicable to the secondary edge silicone sealants for structurally glazed insulating glass units.
This standard is not applicable to silicone structural sealants for bonding and assembling of building curtain wall structure.
