This standard specifies the measurement methods and inspection rules for the energy efficiency grades, minimum allowable values of energy efficiency, evaluating values of energy conservation, energy efficiency and passive standby power of flat panel televisions.
This standard is applicable to ordinary LCDTV and PDPTV ( hereinafter referred to as flat panel television) which operates normally under power grid voltage as well as the display equipments of LCDTV or PDPTV (the major functions of these equipments without tuners are TV).Other panel display equipments may refer to this standard.
