This standard specifies 3,650 maximum residue limits (MRI) for 387 pesticides, like 2,4-D, in food.
This standard is applicable to the food relevant to limit.
The food category and determination position (Informative Appendix A) is applicable to defining the application scope of maximum residue limit (MRI) for pesticides and is only applicable to this standard. Where the maximum residue limit (MRI) of one kind of pesticide is applied to a certain food category, thus this maximum residue limit (MRI) is applicable to all foods under this food category, with exception of special provisions.
