National Food Safety Standard--Determination of Cadmium in Foods
1 Scope
This standard specifies graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry for determination of cadmium in various foods.
This standard is applicable to the determination of cadmium in various foods.
2 Principle
Inject a certain amount of sample digestive solution into graphite furnace equipped with atomic absorption spectrophotometer after the sample is dry-ashed or digested by acid; the sample absorbs 228.8 nm resonance line after being electro-thermally atomized, within the range of certain concentration, its absorbance value is directly proportional to cadmium content, and standard curve method is adopted to determine the content of cadmium.
