1.0.1 This code is prepared with a view to guaranteeing construction and installation quality of crane electrical equipment, promoting the technical advance and ensuring safe operation of the equipment.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to construction and acceptance of installation engineering of electrical equipment and trolley line for cranes and electric hoists used at the nominal voltage 10kV or below in construction works.
1.0.3 In addition to the requirements stipulated in this code, construction and acceptance of crane electrical equipment shall comply with those stipulated in the current relevant national standards.
2 Terms
2.0.1 Trolley line and slip connector
A feeder equipment to supply power for mobile device, composed of trolley line - slide wire guide and slip connector - current collector.
2.0.2 Signal cable
Cable used for equipment to transmit digital signal, analog signal, audio signal or automatic signal at AC nominal voltage 500V or DC nominal voltage 1000V or below.
2.0.3 Raceway
A groove trench designed specially for laying and fixing of conductors or cables.
2.0.4 Resistor
An electric apparatus, made of resistive material, composed of resistor body, skeleton frame and leading-out end, with a certain structure or shape, that is able to constraint current conveyance or convert electric energy to thermal energy.
2.0.5 Brake
A device that has the functions of making moving components (or moving machinery) decelerate, stop or keep in stop state.
2.0.6 Limit switch
A control apparatus that makes a contact acting to realize switching on or off of control circuit by using compact of moving component of the production machinery, in purpose of controlling.
2.0.7 Rail clamp
A safety device that is used to lock track crane tracks in purpose of wind, sliding and overturn resistance.
2.0.8 Controller
A device that makes contacts apart or close in a logical relation to send an order, or interlock with or switch to other control circuit, in an electric drive system, also called as master switch.
