1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with view to strengthening the construction quality management of building engineering, unifying the quality acceptance of concrete filled steel tubular engineering and ensuring the engineering quality.
1.0.2 This specification is applicable to the quality acceptance of concrete filled steel tubular engineering in building engineering.
1.0.3 This code shall be used together with the current national standard GB 50300 Unified Standard for Constructional Quality Acceptance of Building Engineering.
1.0.4 In addition to the requirements stipulated in this code, the quality acceptance of concrete filled steel tubular engineering shall also comply with those stipulated in the current relevant standards of the nation.
2 Terms
2.0.1 steel tubular concrete filled member
structural member with concrete poured in steel tube, of which both steel tube and concrete in the steel tube work jointly
2.0.2 concrete in the steel tube
concrete having certain working performance and being poured in the steel tube
2.0.3 through-type steel tubular joint
steel tubular concrete filled column-beam connection joint in the form that steel tubular columns of the upper and lower floors directly run through the core area of column-beam joint at the joint of steel tubular concrete filled column and reinforced concrete beam
2.0.4 part-through type steel tubular joint
column-beam connection joint achieving transferring in the form that the upper and lower steel tubular concrete filled columns are connected at the core area of column-beam joint by adopting small-diameter thick-wall steel tube and fin, while the steel tubular columns of the upper and lower floors do not directly run through the core area of column-beam joint, at the joint of steel tubular concrete filled column and reinforced concrete beam. This joint is also referred to transferring joint
2.0.5 fin
steel plate rib used for transfer connection of the upper and lower steel tubular concrete filled columns, with the steel tubular column not running through the core area of column-beam joint, among the part-through type steel tubular column joints at the joint of steel tubular concrete filled column and reinforced concrete beam
3 Basic Requirements
3.0.1 The construction of concrete filled steel tubular engineering shall be undertaken by the enterprise having corresponding qualification. The quality inspection of concrete filled steel tubular engineering shall be undertaken by the organization having engineering structure inspection qualification.
3.0.2 The construction drawing design document of concrete filled steel tubular engineering shall pass the review by the organization which holds construction drawing design review licence. The in-depth design document of construction organization shall be confirmed by the original design organization.
3.0.3 Prior to construction of concrete filled steel tubular engineering, the construction organization shall prepare the special construction scheme which shall be confirmed by the supervision (development) organization. During construction in winter and rainy season or at high temperature, the construction organization shall prepare seasonal construction technical measures.
3.0.4 Steel tubes, steel plates, steel bars, connecting materials, welding materials and steel tubular concrete filled materials shall meet the design requirements and the requirements of current relevant standards of the nation.
3.0.5 The manufacture of steel tubular members shall meet the relevant requirements of the current national standard GB 50205 Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Steel Structures. At the end of manufacturing of members, acceptance inspection shall be carried out as required, and end-of-manufacturing acceptance records shall be formed. The members required for pre-assembly shall be pre-assembled, and the relevant record shall be formed.
3.0.6 The welders must pass examination and obtain the qualification certificate, and the certificated welders must carry out welding operation within their qualified examination items and the scope specified in the qualification certificate.
3.0.7 For the Grades I and II welds which are required to be full-penetration welds by the design, ultrasonic inspection shall be adopted for the internal defects of welds, and radiographic inspection shall be adopted if judgment of defects cannot be achieved upon ultrasonic inspection. The classification and detection of such internal defects shall meet the relevant requirements of current national standards GB 11345 Method for Manual Ultrasonic Testing and Classification of Testing Results for Ferritic Steel Welds and GB/T 3323 Radiographic Examination of Fusion Welded Joints in Metallic Materials. The quality grade and defect classification of Grade I and II welds shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 3.0.7.
