This standard specifies the type, materials, design, construction, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packing, storage, service life, etc. of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders.
This standard is applicable to welded steel gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as "cylinders") which are used under normal environment temperature (-40℃~60℃), have 2.1MPa nominal working pressure and no larger than 150L nominal volume, and can repeatedly contain liquefied petroleum gas (in accordance with GB 11174).

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions and ones established in GB/T 13005 apply.
3.1
Maximum filling weight
Product of filling factor of liquefied petroleum gas and nominal volume of cylinder specified in "Safety Inspection Regulations for Gas Cylinders".
3.2
Assure value of mechanical properties after heat treatment
Minimum value (shall not be less than 93% of lower limit of standard specified value) assured for mechanical properties of cylinder base material after annealing heat treatment.
3.3
Small capacity cylinders
Cylinder with nominal volume less than or equal to 12L.
