This standard was formulated with a view to carrying out “Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (tentative)”, preventing the pollution of fly ash for agriculture use to soil, crops, underground water and surface water, and ensuring the production of farming, husbandry and fishery as well as the human health.
This standard applies to such fly ash that is discharged from thermal power plant with wet process, has been weathered over one year and is used for soil improvement.
1 Standard Value
1.1 The maximum allowable content of pollutants in fly ash for agricultural use shall meet those specified in the following table.
