This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and models, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage with regards to rotary mowers.
This standard is applicable to rotary mowers with blades moving horizontally and circularly, which mainly harvest hay.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

rotary mower
a lawn mower in which blades rotate around a vertical shaft to complete cutting and laying of hay.

drum rotary mower
a rotary mower equipped with a drum cutter means driven by upper part.
