This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test method, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of steel furring for building.
This standard is applicable to steel furring for non-carrying wall and suspended ceiling with light sheet such as gypsum plasterboard, decorative plasterboard and mineral wool decorating acoustic board as decorative surface .
Accessory standard of steel furring for building in composite wall and suspended ceiling is JC/T 558.
