3 Test principle

This standard measures the torque required to rotate the rotor in a rubber-filled die cavity under specified test conditions and uses the Mooney viscosity as a unit of measuring for this torque.

4 Test instruments
4.1 The Mooney viscometer used in this standard shall comply with those specified in ZB N72 024.
