This standard gives principles for maintenance and supervision of transformer oil.
This standard is applicable to mineral insulating oils used in oil-filled electrical equipment such as power transformers, reactors, instrument transformers, and oil-filled bushings.
This standard does not apply to synthetic insulating liquids.
