1. Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of athletic footwear.
This standard is applicable to general sports shoes, training shoes, gym shoes, walking shoes, jogging shoes and casual shoes etc, professional sport shoes are excluded.

For dated reference, subsequent amendments (excluding amending error in the text) to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not be applied. However, the parties whose enter into agreement according to these specifications are encouraged to research whether the latest editions of these references are applied or not. 3 Product Classification
3.1 Products are sorted by upper materials:
A) Natural leather (containing top layer leather and leather split);
B) Synthetic (artificial) leather;
C) Textile;
D) Composite materials.
3.2 Products are sorted, by wearing people, into: men's shoes, women's shoes and children's shoes.
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Shoes Sizes
All the shoes sizes of domestic products shall be implemented according to those specified in GB/T 3293.1.
4.2 Recommended value of the thickness on main parts of raw materials
