This standard specifies the designation expression methods, order contents, dimension, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of high strength low alloy structural steels.
This standard is applicable to plates, strips, sections, bars, etc. of high strength low alloy structural steels used for general structures and works. Its chemical composition is also applicable to billets.
