This standard specifies the fatigue testing standard for helical springs under variable load.
This standard is applicable to fatigue life verification and reliability evaluation of helical compression and tension springs (hereinafter referred to as springs), and it can be used as a reference for other spring products under variable load.

3 Terms, definitions and symbols
For the basic terms of springs, those specified in GB/T 1805 shall apply. See Figure 1 and Table 1 for the terms, definitions, symbols and units related to fatigue testing.
