This standard specifies the test methods for resistant-to-chemicals and resistant-to-temperature changes of glass-plastic safety glazing material, and it is applicable to glass-plastic safety glazing material for vehicles.
2 Resistant-to-Chemicals Test
2.1 Test purpose
It is to determine whether there is apparent quality change of glass-plastic safety glazing material when it is exposed to the common chemical substances atmosphere (e.g. detergent, etc.) in the vehicle.
2.2 Chemical substances used in the test
2.2.1 Liquid soap without abrasive
Deionized water solution containing 1% (m/m) potassium oleate.
2.2.2 Vehicle window cleaning fluid
Isopropyl alcohol and dipropylene glycol methyl ether, each with concentration of 5% ~ 10% (m/m); ammonium hydroxide water solution with weight concentration of 1% ~ 5% (m/m).
2.2.3 Denatured alcohol
The volume ratio of ethyl alcohol to methyl alcohol is 10 to 1.
2.2.4 Gasoline
