This part of GB/T 1796 specifies the terms and definitions, model designation, structural types, types, structural dimensions and materials of components, appearance, maximum pressure of use, sealing performance, assembly torque of hex nut and valve stem, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of clamp-in valves (hereinafter referred to as "valves").
This part is applicable to valves for tubes of motorcycles and cycles.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions specified in GB/T 12839 apply.
4 Model designation
The model designation of the product shall meet the requirements of GB/T 21285. See Annex A for the comparison of models between this part and foreign standard.
5 Structural type
The structural types of valves shall meet the requirements of Table 1 and Figures 1~4. All linear dimensions in this part are expressed in millimeters.
