This part of GB/T 1796 specifies the terms and definitions, model designation, structural types, types, structural dimensions and materials of components, appearance, rubber base edge thickness, maximum pressure of use, sealing performance, adhesion strength and adhesion rate between rubber and metal stem, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of rubber base valves (hereinafter referred to as "valves").
This part is applicable to valves for tubes of industrial vehicles, agricultural vehicles, engineering machinery, motorcycles, electric vehicles and cycles.
This part is not applicable to air valves for aircraft tyres.
