This standard specifies the method for detecting extractable allergenous disperse dyestuffs (see Annex A) on textiles with high performance liquid chromatography - mass spectrometer (LC/MS) or high performance liquid chromatography - diode array detector (HPLC/DAD).
This standard is applicable to printed and dyed textiles.

3 Theory
After the sample was extracted with methanol, subject the extract to qualitative and quantitative determination with the high performance liquid chromatography - mass spectrometer (LC/MS) or the high Performance liquid chromatography - diode array detector (HPLC/DAD), and where necessary, thin layer chromatography (TLC) and infrared spectrometry (IR) may be adopted to facilitate the qualitative analysis of extract liquor.
