GB/T 20758-2006 Method for the determination of testosterone epi-testosterone and progesterone residues in bovine liver and muscle tissues - LC-MS-MS method
This standard specified the determination of testosterone, epi-testosterone and progesterone residues in bovine liver and muscle tissues by LC-MS-MS method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of testosterone, epi-testosterone and progesterone residues in bovine liver and muscle tissues.
Method detection limits of this standard: in bovine liver, testosterone, epi-testosterone and progesterone: 0.5 μg/kg; in muscle tissues, testosterone and epi-testosterone: 0.1 μg/kg, and progesterone: 0.5 μg/kg.

3 Principle
After enzymolysis, the testosterone, epi-testosterone and progesterone residues in bovine liver and muscle tissues are extracted with methanol and methyl tert-butyl ether; the extracting solution is purified with C18 solid phase extraction column, while the liver sample is purified again with silica gel solid phase extraction column; the eluent is concentrated to constant volume for determination by LC-MS-MS method.
