1 Scope
This standard specifies the application scope, term definitions, types, basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, symbols, documents and attachments, storage, transportation and quality assurance date of garden patrol minibus (hereinafter referred to as patrol minibus).
This standard is applicable to the garden patrol minibus and garden sightseeing combination bus (hereinafter referred to as sightseeing combination bus) driven by internal-combustion engine and motor. Other vehicles of the same type (such as hunting vehicles) may refer to this standard.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this standard.
3.1
Garden patrol minibus
The garden patrol minibus is the non-track without-stringing vehicle with four or more than four wheels, driven by the motor or internal-combustion engine in specified area. This kind of vehicles is mainly designed for leisure, sightseeing and tourism, as well as suitable for driving in such specified area as tourism scenic area, integrated community and Pedestrian Street.
3.2
Sightseeing combination bus
The sightseeing combination bus is combined by one patrol minibus and one or several carriages, and its application area is the same as that of the patrol minibus.
Note: sightseeing combination bus is a special kind of patrol minibus.
3.3
Hill starting ability
The hill starting ability is the ability of patrol minibus to start on the slope with the maximum gradability and run upward for at least 10m within 1 minute (and the motor current of the electric patrol minibus is no larger than the allowable current).
3.4
Reference energy consumption
Reference energy consumption (Wh/km) is the value of electric energy from the power grid divided by the traveled distance, when the electric patrol minibus re-charges the dynamic storage battery to the capacity before the test through the test cycle under specified uniform-speed traveling condition.
