This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, inspection methods, inspection classification rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of washed garments.
This standard is applicable to washed garments with textiles as main fabric.
This standard is not applicable to jeanswear and the garments for infants and young children of 36 months or below.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions specified in GB/T 15557 and the following ones apply.

Washed garments
The garments whose finished and semi-finished products or the used fabrics are subjected to one or more of the following treatment: stone wash, sand wash, enzyme wash, bleach wash and snowflake wash, etc.
