This standard specifies the general design requirements for recirculating cooling seawater treatment, the design requirements and methods for makeup seawater treatment, recirculating cooling seawater treatment, test, monitoring and control, etc.
This standard is applicable to the treatment design for recirculating cooling seawater in new, expanded and re-built projects with seawater as makeup water.

a water supply system recirculating with seawater as a cooling medium, consisting of heat exchange equipment, seawater cooling tower, water pump, pipeline and other related equipment
