This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, transportation and storage of light weight panels for partition wall used in buildings (hereinafter referred to as the light weight panel).
This standard is applicable to light weight panel for non-load bearing internal partition walls of industrial and civil buildings.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
panel
precast panel with aspect ratio not less than 2.5.
3.2
light weight panel
precast panel made of light weight materials or structures with areal density not greater than those specified in this standard.
3.3
hollow panel
precast panel with several through holes along the length direction of the panel.
3.4
solid panel
non-perforated precast panel made of similar materials.
3.5
composite panel
precast panel made of two or more different functional materials.
3.6
rabbet joint
generic terms for rabbets, mortises and joint grooves arranged on both sides of the panel.
