This standard specifies the method for determining the contents of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulphur, chromium, nickel, lead, aluminum, copper, tungsten, titanium, niobium, vanadium, boron, arsenic, tin, magnesium, lanthanum, cerium, antimony, zinc and zirconium in white cast iron with spark discharge atomic emission spectrometric method.
This method is applicable to the analysis of cast iron samples after whitening.
This method may simultaneously determine 24 elements in white cast iron, with determination ranges as shown in Table 1.
