This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product qualification certificate, stacking and transportation of nonload bearing concrete hollow brick.
This standard is applicable to concrete hollow bricks used in nonload bearing structures like industrial and civil buildings.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions specified in GB/T 18968 and those listed below are applicable to this standard.
3.1
Nonload bearing concrete hollow brick
Brick applied in regions of nonload bearing structure, using cement and aggregate as main material blending with admixture and other materials, the hollow ratio of which through dosing, stirring, molding, curing is not less than 25% (hereinafter referred to as hollow brick), the code is NHB.
See Figure 1 for the name of each part of hollow brick.
