This part of GB/T 24612 specifies the basic safety requirements shall be met for application sites of electrical equipment.
Note: The application of electrical equipment refers to the safety requirements which shall be noted within life cycles such as operation and maintenance after the manufacture of electrical equipment is completed in accordance with the electrical safety requirements. Because such application has close correlation with sites, its requirements to safety are possibly involved in necessary requirements to sites.
Generally, the exposed live parts or circuit parts for operation and nearby working personnel shall be subjected to limitation. No matter under what circumstance, it shall be guaranteed that operators are safe when approaching or touching exposed live parts or circuit parts. Therefore this part emphasizes on proposing relevant requirements and provisions.
This part is applicable to electrical equipments which are within life cycles such as operation and maintenance after being manufactured in accordance with the electrical safety requirements.
The purpose of this part is to provide safety control relevant to electrical hazards for operating exposed live parts or circuit parts and nearby working personnel.
Note: More requirements of this part are based on guaranteeing the electrical equipment application safety from the manufacturing angle.
