1 Scope
This standard specifies the tensile test procedures of welded joints and dimension requirements of test specimens.
This standard is applicable to the melt welded and pressure welded joints of metallic materials.

3 Principle
The tensile test shall be carried out according to GB/T 228.
Unless otherwise specified, the test shall be carried out at the ambient temperature 23℃±5℃.
4 Symbols
The symbols and relevant descriptions to be used for the tensile tests are specified in Table 1 and represented in Figures 1 to 3.
