This Standard specifies the shelf life which various specialty gases shall reach at least.
This Standard applies to the specialty gas that is filled in the appropriate container and stored for standby application after being analyzed, and to the gas provided by special gas manufacturing plant and supplier. In this Standard, the shelf life is considered from the perspective of mass. This Standard does not involve safety issues related to extending storage.
2 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this Standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
2.1 Residual level
It refers to the level of residual product left in the container, which is counted as mass or pressure, and it shall be as less as possible to maximally reduce the impact of high-content impurity in the gas filled last time on the manufacturing process.
2.2 Shelf life
It refers to the period when the supplier guarantees the gaseous mass, starting from the completion of analysis. Within this period, it shall be guaranteed that accurately analyzed impurity content shall maintain at or lower than the upper limit of technology index specified for a gas of specific class.
2.3 Liquid dry
