This standard provides procedures for validating mass loss and residue measurements by thermogravimetric analyzers (TGA) and analytical methods based upon the measurement of mass loss and residue.
This standard is applicable to the validation of performance parameters of the thermogravimetric analyzer, including mass loss and residue repeatability (precision), detection limit, quantitative limit, linearity, bias, technical description and regulatory compliance.
