This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technology and test requirements of low-voltage reactive power compensation switchgear component.
This standard is applicable to the low-voltage reactive power compensation switchgear component (hereinafter referred to as switchgear component) with rated AC voltage not exceeding 1 000 (or 1 140)V and frequency not exceeding 1 000Hz.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions in GB/T 15576-2008 and the following ones apply.

Low-voltage reactive power compensation switchgear component
A kind of combination of electromechanical switch, inductor or resistance wire, semi-conductor electronic switch and the relevant control, measurement, signal and protection devices which are assembled integrally by structural members as required, for the purpose of completing reactive power compensation function.
