This part of GB/T 30202 specifies those such as the determination principle, determination procedures and result calculation of the desulfurization value of granular coal-based activated carbon for desulfurization and denitration process (hereinafter referred to as activated coke).
It is applicable to the determination of desulfurization value of activated coke.
2 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this part, the following term and definition apply.
2.1
desulfurization value
mass of sulfur dioxide desorbed at a high temperature after sulfur dioxide is saturated and adsorbed by per unit of activated coke under certain conditions
3 Determination principle
The pretreated specimen adsorbs the gas mixture of sulfur dioxide, water vapor, oxygen and nitrogen under certain conditions. Then, after the sulfur dioxide is saturated and adsorbed, nitrogen is injected for adsorption, and the desulfurization value of the activated coke is calculated according to the amount of sulfur dioxide desorption.
