This part of GB/T 30202 specifies those such as the determination principle, determination procedures and result calculation of the capability of granular coal-based activated carbon for desulfurization and denitration process (hereinafter referred to as activated coke) to remove oxynitride.
It is applicable to the determination of denitration value of activated coke.
2 Determination principle
Make gas mixture containing oxynitride, ammonia, oxygen, nitrogen, and water vapor pass through the activated coke bed, and change the oxynitride in the gas into nitrogen via selective catalytic reduction (SCR) by ammonia for emission. When the SCR reaction reaches a steady state, the ratio of the volume fraction of the converted oxynitride to that of the oxynitride in the gas is the denitration value of the activated coke.
3 Reagents and materials
3.1 Nitrogen, with the concentration of 99.5%.
3.2 Nitric oxide, which is prepared with inert gas and has volume fraction of not less than 5%.
3.3 Oxygen, with the concentration of 99%.
3.4 Ammonia, with the concentration of not less than 5%.
