This part is Part 2 of GB/T 34370.
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 34370 specifies the visual examination method for amusement equipments.
This part is applicable to the visual examination of production and in-service amusement equipments.
This part is not applicable to the visual examination activities in other non-destructive testing methods such as magnetic particle and penetrant.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the terms and definitions specified in GB/T 20306 and GB/T 20737 as well as the following ones apply.
3.1
visual examination
a nondestructive testing method for observing, analyzing and evaluating the condition of the tested piece, which refers to the examination of the tested piece performed with human eyes or visual aid only
3.2
direct visual examination
a visual examination technique that uses eyes to detect without visual aids (except for illumination sources and magnifiers)
