This standard specifies the classification and marks, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of marine weathertight single-leaf steel doors (hereinafter referred to as the "doors").
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and inspection of entrance and exit doors for the superstructure above freeboard deck and deckhouse of various ships.
