3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
grid adaptability of wind turbine
the response characteristics of wind turbines in the case of grid voltage deviation, frequency deviation, three-phase voltage unbalance, voltage fluctuation and flicker, and harmonic voltage
3.2
point of connection of wind turbine/point of test of wind turbine
the point at which the voltage or frequency variation occurs, which is the connection point between the grid disturbance generating device and the high voltage side of the step-up transformer of wind turbine
3.3
no-load testing
a test for the voltage or frequency variation generated by the test device at the point of test of wind turbine in the event that the wind turbine is disconnected from the grid
3.4
on-load testing
a test for the voltage or frequency variation generated by the test device at the point of test of wind turbine in the event that the wind turbine is connected to the grid
3.5
inertia response of wind turbine
the characteristic that the active output of the wind turbine varies with time after the frequency discontinuity of grid, which is referred to as the inertia response
