Evaluation method and testing method for energy performance of refrigerating systems—
Part 1: Energy-storage air conditioning systems
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 37227 specifies the relevant terms, basic requirements, performance rating methods, testing and calculation methods, etc. of air conditioning and refrigerating systems using energy-storage technology, in which performance rating is carried out from the aspects of energy efficiency and economy.
This part is applicable to various forms of energy storage air conditioning systems such as ice storage and water storage, which are designed with daily cyclical period, including cool storage and refrigeration chillers, and cool storage circulating pumps, discharge circulating pumps, cooling circulating pumps, cooling pumps and cooling tower fans, etc. operating in the process of cool storage, discharge and refrigeration. Terminal fans of the air conditioning system are not included.
This standard is not applicable to air-cooled refrigerating unit for the time being.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 19412-2003, GB/T 17981-2007, GB/T 26194-2010 and JGJ 158-2008, as well as the following, apply.
3.1
energy performance of energy-storage air conditioning systems during designed cyclical period
ratio of the total input energy (usually electricity) to the energy-storage air conditioning system during a designed cyclical period (usually 24 h), to the total refrigerating output of the energy-storage air conditioning system in the same period
Note: The unit is kWhe/kWhc.
3.2
typical day's condition
condition that reflects the typical operating conditions through performance rating for the energy-storage air conditioning system by field tests, under the outdoor weather conditions close to the local summer air conditioning design, when the energy-storage air conditioning system is in normal cycle
3.3
annual average terminal energy performance of refrigeration & thermal storage system
ratio of the total terminal energy (usually electricity) input to the energy-storage air conditioning system in a complete cooling season (no more than 12 months), to the total refrigerating output of the energy-storage air conditioning system in the same period
Note: The unit is kWhe/kWhc.
