This part of GB/T 38146 specifies the composition of automotive test cycle for light-duty vehicles (including passenger cars and light-duty commercial vehicles).
This part is applicable to Class M1 and Class N1 vehicles, and to Class M2 vehicles with the maximum total design mass not exceeding 3500 kg.

For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 3730.1, GB/T 15089 and the following apply.

Class M1 and Class N1 vehicles, and Class M2 vehicles with the maximum total design mass not exceeding 3500 kg

time-speed curve that describes the test cycle of particular vehicles (e.g., passenger cars, commercial vehicles, city buses, etc.) in a Chinese traffic environment
